Swarm Capture

Swarms are one of natures miracles to witness. The sheer number of bees in the air during a swarm can be as overwhelming as witnessing a swarm in mass resting on a tree, fence, or wherever they may choose before moving on.

Therein lies the problem with swarms. They are looking for a place to live. It may be a hollow tree, or it could be your barn, shed, or home that they end up inside. And once inside and established, it is very difficult to remove them.

We'll happily come get the swarm, free of charge! Simply contact us and let us know where they've landed.

Swarms can stay in one place for a matter of hours to several days, so the sooner we know, the better.

Hive Removal

Once a swarm decides to move into a structure, it can be a long, arduous process to remove them via what is known as a cut out. If hired for a removal we will work diligently to ensure that any professional craftsman has a clean foundation in which to easily complete repairs once the removal process is done.

The process depends greatly on a number of factors such as what type of structure they inhabit, how long they have been established, and more.

If you'd like to discuss the removal of a nuisance hive on your property, contact us for a free consolation!

ABOUT US

ABOUT US

We're just a small business.. In a small city...

Being right on the edge of the city/county line, we've got the best of both worlds, having farmland to one side, and town gardens to the other. Ample locations for the bees to forage for pollen and nectar.

Like many hobby beekeepers, we started small and failed miserably several times. Through each failure was a lesson well learned. Every year we strive to succeed more, and grow our apiary in not only size, but efficiency as well.

We look forward to many more years of fun and bees!
