Ok, so I decided to toss this script out into the wind for anyone to grab. It's a script that pulls the current month data from AWStats data files and displays it on your site via SSI. It's meant to run from Linux as it uses grep to pull the data quickly so there's less overhead.

Hot dang, it's about time. SourceForge.net Software Search has had a facelift. The new search offers more power and a better UI to play with. Plus it doesn't suck as bad as the last one.

I'm sure you've heard of the software PC Anywhere that allows you to connect from one computer to another and to be able to see and control the remote PC's desktop. That's all fine and dandy except for one problem...

Hot dang, have I found some great software for you. It all started when I was searching high and low for some good, FREE backup software to move files onto my fileserver (not zipped). As it so happens I found something better.. In fact, unless you want to compress your backups, this thing works great and works in both directions!

I never did post anything on the details of my fileserver I set up for work so I thought I'd post just the pics and etc. I made the jump and set up this fileserver after loosing over 4 years of irreplaceable data to a catastrophic hard drive failure.

Pheaton.com and its forum site?

I remember way back when it first started out, I had a worklog on there called Wolfen, as well as FS2 (File server) which I made out of an old Compaq.. But as of mid 2005 the site as a whole is dead. You don't even hear about LP anymore.

Lets face it, as we go through the process of mucking around the Internet some very useful and amazing things can come to light. Though, most is just crap anymore. This however is one of the wonders and has inspired me into considering the options of building myself a half rack and custom 3U cases to boot.
