As I’m sure you’ve seen from the prior posts we’re selling off our current home in favor of moving into something that better suits us. Any Murray people out there take a look and set an appointment!

My Shiny New Karcher Pressure Washer

When you’re selling a home the preparation you put into making sure the inside is clean and tidy may not be the only item on the list of must cleans. In fact, the most important is the one least thought of.

Mow Me Down, A Look At The Troy-Built 556

It’s summer time again as I’m sure you’ve noticed. The suns shining bright, the birds are singing and the yard needs mowed. Not just once every 10 days or so, no, it’s at least every other day it seems. What a perfect time for a mower to die!

A House Hunting We Will Go

I’ve been a bit preoccupied as of late due to several reasons. Family’s in town, daughter here for the summer, fixing up my house and looking to move. It’s been rather maddening with all the work being put into this place getting it ready to sell. On the bright side though, I think my wife and I have found our future home.

32 and Smoke Free

Hello. My name is Scott and I’m an ex smoker. I smoked since the age of 15 or 16, really it’s been along enough ago that I started I haven’t a clue what the exact age I was when I did. But that’s all behind me now.

Entry View Counts

I decided to add the ability to see how many times an "Entry" was viewed. I looked all over the place for a plugin that did this for Movable Type but could not find one. As such I decided to code my own. It's not pretty code, actually just making very quick read/writes to files and displaying the data like that. This should not have any affect on server load when executed from the individual archives however I'm going to have to wait and see if the display of counts affects the server when done on category pages and such where several show up at one time.

In Search of Lion

Do you have kids? Do your kids have any toys they are SO attached to that loosing them would end in the need for therapy at the age of 40? I do. In fact I have two of my own. Kids that is, who seem to be so attached to these items of amazement that I don’t think they will ever part with them.

Winkflash Mayhem

Since the birth of my son I’ve been taking mass amounts of photographs and for once actually needing to have them printed. You see I take a lot of pictures. With all good reason mind you, as my wife has gotten into the fine art of scrap booking.

New Site Layout

Well as you can tell (if you've been here before that is) I redid the site from the ground up. It took me a large chunk of today to get it all set up and finished. Or at the very least get most of it finished and pretty. I'll be adjusting it here and there but for the most part I'm really happy with it.

You'll probably notice pages here and there with the old layout. I'm working on moving them over and hope to have that done tomorrow without much trouble.

I'd really love to know what you all think of it, so be sure and jot down a quick comment with your input.. :)

The Rack Plans and Thoughts

Ok, so, I'm setting here in the "office" one day, which is also where all the dogs stay (2 basset hounds of my own and 2 foster dogs) and I realize how badly the fans on these computers sound. One I finally jammed something in because it was so noisy. So what's a person to do? Build a rack.
