As I’m sure you’ve seen from the prior posts we’re selling off our current home in favor of moving into something that better suits us. Any Murray people out there take a look and set an appointment!

It’s been a lot of work to get things ready and quite frankly has been nerve racking going through all the stress of having people trace through the house. It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t work at home, but since I do it means I have to get up and leave the house, even if I have work I need done.

I’m sure you’re saying to yourselves, he can just stay and work. This may be true but I feel the house doesn’t present itself as well when people are in. I know from the times I’ve been through homes looking it almost makes you a bit withdrawn if the owner or other family is there. Almost like it’s hard to feel that it’s your house you’re walking through, when in fact it’s really not anyway; but that’s a matter for the psychiatrists.

The house has been listed on Realtor.com for the past week. Today my Realtor from Grey’s Properties called to tell me the virtual tour was up. I’m rather psyched about it all, but still drained. On the bright side she’s told me that all the feedback she’s been getting from other Realtors who have showed the house has been good.

I wonder, is that the optimists version of good, or the pessimists? At any rate, things seem to be going very well. In fact, the first day of listing we had 5 consecutive showings. Now, where are those bids people! In due time I’m sure.
