Getting Traffic My Way

I was just checking through the server logs to see how things were going on this site. It’s not often I’m able to do personal stuff so I take a bit of time now and then to catch up. I happened to take a glance at the links in from external sites and saw that I was getting a fair amount of traffic in from not only 500Words.com, the flagship LinkSizzler site, but also from 500TopBlogs.com which was a setup I did for a customer.

If you haven’t claimed a word yet on either site I’d recommend doing so. It’s sending in real traffic, really well. Much better than a dinky little pixel ad could do.

Hey everyone,

Since 500words got so much buzz, there are so many sites poping out!

Here is another one:
http://www.popular-tags.com

This site has a lot more features, and you can buy and resell your keyword. Which is pretty interesting :)

I found this coupon code ($25 off): njulpromo

Hardly any of these sites have backlinks????? Where is the traffic coming from? Oh, it must be all that Spam you're sending out to inboxes across the country and abroad. Which certainly means it won't be targetted and is therefore down right useless. Oh, let's trick the search engines while we're at it. Just to let you know, your whole network has been banned in my email sets. Another Joel Comm gimmick to make a buck. Roll up your sleeves and do some real work, ya bum.

You're really barking up the wrong tree Barry. I just do the coding. You want to whine and say our network's email is banned, do it on Joels site cuz I don't really give a flip.

That said. Thank you, drive through.. :)

Is the limit of words for Linksizzler 500? Is that number reduced for Word-Phrase-Links?
Thanks--JG

LinkSizzler can take any number of keywords/phrases. I've seen people set it up as 1001whatever.ext.. 500 is just a nice round number IMO.

Why pay for a word?

I love free source. In fact, if it put food on the table and paid enough to support my family I'd do it exclusively..

Yay! :D

But, I have mouths to feed..

Yeah we just launched www.1000webdesigners.com it doesnt have the full 1000 words in it. Although if someone suggests a word we can just add it on there. We are taking up to 1000 words.
